Last week at Meijer
Last week at Rite Aid
Total Saved: $3927.54
Last week- Kroger and CVS
I spent $3.78 OOP and got back $15 ECB, and will be submitting for Just for Men rebate as well!
I am rebuilding ECB from earlier in the year when I stopped going for like 3 months, and they all expired! Luckily, there is one CVS that WILL accept my expireed ECBs. I have three cards and want to get down to only having one, so will use expired ones from those two accounts this week and work my way down to nothing left so I can make it easier on myself since I am doing more stores now :)
Total savings listed was $48.15
For Kroger, I didn't have time to take a pic because my camera was out of power, but I did the Glade and Poweade deals and got some much needed bread along with gum that was on sale and did the Fiber One bars, all in all this is what it said at the bottom of my receipt:
Balance: $14.15
Total savings: $82.21
AND I have $4 OynO left along with $1 off 3 powerade zero 32oz, which I hope to use tonight and roll deal a few more times iwth the GLADe while the sale is still going on this week:)
Total Left to Spend: $2470.67
Total Saved: $3871.85

Gazelle Vaccuum Cleaner Review
I think this vaccuum is FANTASTIC! It's small, light-weight, doesn't need a cord because it plugs in. The list goes on about how wonderful this is. It is also bagless, which is awesome. I have used it twice this week alone, I almost feel like I could vaccuum everyday because it's that easy to use. It pivots very easily and since it's so small can go into many crevices and it even has a detachable part that turns into a little dustbuster thing. I think I will use it on the car next week.
(The reason I wait till next week is because I will be going to Colorado Springs, CO tommorrow and will be gone till Sunday at a conference- which I didn't have to pay ANYTHING FOR!)

What is wrong?
I think I just need to get back in the swing of things.
my husband and I auditioned for a musical on Sunday, we haven't done anything like that in a LONG time, but we thought what the heck, we didn't make callbacks, but that's all right. We did well, except aren't loud enough in our singing, we need to work on this. Yesterday we both auditioned for a play, there were only 4 men and 2 women there! And the night before apparently only 3/4 women! The show has 5 men and 2 women, I hope we both get parts! There are more auditions tonight for another show, but he doesn't want to audition, I do, we'll see what happens:)

Meijer
I need to update my totals for spending, but don't really feel like doing that right now, lol...
Getting back in the saddle
This week at CVS they have a deal going on Nivea buy $10 get $5 ECB, I'm definintely going to be doing that deal for my husband; he needs shaving cream. That's something that I don't find deals on too often, but this time I am going all in for it!
Another deal I will be doing there is on the General Mills products. It's buy $20 get $10 ECB, so I am going to try the Fiber One cereals, haven't tried them before, but will report back once I see how they taste :)
Been a While
I was participating in a city-wide garage sale on one Saturday and made some awesome cash! I then had a sale on that Sunday as well and the next weekend and on a Monday and a Friday for a couple hours. All in all, I'd say it rocked since I made about $1000!!

The last couple weeks have been awesome!
I actually found a GC for WAGS I didn't know had money on it, over $60!! It was awesome, so I actually did not pay anything out of pocket for these purchases, just the RR and the GC I had found, and it still have over $30 on it!
Also, worth mentioning is that the vacuum that's on sale ESR was on clearance for $49.99, awesome!
WAGS trip one:
RR Used: $82
(I think I won't factor in the amount used on the GC because I didn't add the GC to my totals below to begin with, since I randomly found it in my stuff, also, I will not add the amount left in to the totals to see how that will work for me...)
Amount I should get back with ESR: $20 for vaccuum, $1.69 for bulbs= $21.69 +10%= $2.17= $23.86
PLUS: I will get $10 GC for buying the Polident stuff :)
Second trip to WAGS when I was in FL:
RR Used: $109
All final prices were put on GC I found, so no need to tally it in
Amunt I should get back with ESR: $1.69 for bulbs, $2.50 for Pert Plus, $1.99 for WAGS Ultra-thin, $3.29 for Kickers Energy, $8.99 for Nexcare, $4.99 for Orajel, $9.99 for Ear Rinse, $4.49 for Oral-B= $37.93+10%= $3.79= $41.72
Plus, I earned $12 from the Crest deal, and had $3 RR left over (although it is expired, will hope some WAG will take it!)
Now, I can update my totals as well :
(I'm still not sure how to calculate in RR and GC ECB etc... any suggestions would be appreciated!!) I did NOT add in anticipated GC totals below.
Total left to spend: $580.49 (subtracting RR, since I added it previously, add in new RR)
Total Saved: $1985.35

Kroger Card Savings
$364.57
It says "to date" on it, but I don't know if they mean total time I have ever had the card, or just this year. It was barely $10 prior to the Kroger cereal deal and that is what it is now, so yeah, I got about 80 boxs of cereal!
I will add that to my savings tallies, and I actually think I will add in my savings from each of my CVS cards, I have three of them, But I am going to go down to just one at the end of this month because it has come that I am really only doing one deal but each card once a week or something wierd like that. Not really effecient, so need to work on that.
I am pretty new at this couponing thing, only about a year and always seem to be spending a little more than I should be, so I am going to start tracking all these things and as I build my stockpile will only buy things I already have if they are free or make money. Things I need to stockpile will have to be at "rock bottom prices" for me to get them to begin with.
Right now I think I am going to be trying to do a deal on paper towels because I just opened my last roll today, awe...
Total left to spend: $759.49
Total Saved: $1502.00

The infamous Walgreens Suave Deal
Here are my pics from that deal:
I added in the Garnier as filler so that I could do the Buy $10 get $5 back on Garnier from Walgreens. Worked like a charm!
I have heard of a way to turn the shampoo into laundry detergent, how does this work? I would like to know so I could try it out. I know the Avon bubble baths can be used in the laundry, they really make the laundry smell nice, and I like the Peach one the best! But how do I use shampoo for it? Do I just add it in the same way?
I will upload all pics of items I get and also adjust money at the bottom of my posts. I don't know how I will factor in savings amount. I can either put in the amount saved from the bottom of the receipt, or look at cost per product, but that would be too complicated. I will stick to amount saved at the bottom of the receipt, and have to check on receipts of stores that won't do it for me, lol.
I also will keep a tally of rebates that I earn from different products as well, so tally up the WAGS GC, the CVS ECBs, etc. I currently have $60 in Prepaid VISA from Norton, so need to factor that in as well...
I think this is the format I will use:
Total left to spend: $757.31
Total Saved: $1137.43
Now, of course I don't really know what's been going on with the rest of the year since I've thrown receipts away, etc. So I will just act as if I didn't buy anything for that part of the year and not factor any of that in, but I can still show pics since I had wanted to start this blog WAY sooner than I have, but too many great deals kept flowing in!

Walgreens May 4-10th, GREAT P&G week!!
I used the B1G1 Free coupons on these hair dyes to fill in since there weren't many Crest, so I ended up spending $6 for $20RR.
I got the Herbal Essence to qualify for the free mani/pedi offer on the bottles, there's an extra one there because I got one I didn't notice did not have the offer on it. Wanted everything to be legit since I am going to resell anyways...
I got TONS of Olay. I really like the blue astringent, it's a great cooling sensation on the skin and I really feel like my skin is clean after I put it on a cotton pad and wipe it around. That I will DEF be saving and glad I was able to stock up on it.
These are the monthly rebate items. I got them in order to get the right number of items to get GC with my RR. I got WAG GC of course, because I knew that I would be using it soon!
The Olay soap I thought was part of the deal, but of course it wasn't. I got a set of 9 of those, erg... But that's all right, I'll sell them just the same.
This is a pic of the sale items, the razors and blades were an AWESOME filler!
SO: Final tallies are listed below, I figure that because I didn't comtemplate the best moves is why I ended up so high OOP. But that's all right, I have some money to spend and this is my first time stabs at REAL super-couponing anyways. I will of course get better at this in the long-term!!
Rebates: $24.98 +10%= $27.49
Try me Free on Pert Plus= $3.49
Final GC Balance= $3.59 (not sure about this one though)
Shopping Trips:
$101.34 OOP
$85 RR
$40 GC
$14.76 OOP
$105 RR
$40.01 OOP
$175.74 OOP
$35.40 OOP
Total= $137.25 OOP
- Cash Back= $102.69 OOP (NOT the greatest, but I didn't plan, so that's what happened, ergggg...)
BUT on the plus side, I will be getting mani/pedi from Herbal Essence, I have three addresses so:
(I'm giving it a $30 value, correct me if I'm wrong)
$30 * 6 (because limit is 2 per address)= $180 :)
I wish we could just get the cash, hehe...
Also, adding the the amount the bottom of the receipt says I saved comes to the total of: $1137.43
SO, I paid LESS than 10% of how much I saved, if that makes sense.
This is my first post!
Right now I am getting pictures of the Walgreens things I bought last week and I will post them soon and then I shall post the goals of this blog, yeah, I'm a dork...
