Happy New Year!!

My first post in 2010~

I would say that last year pretty much rocked at saving money as far as coupons go. I will still need to upload all of my pics and I will upload my spreadsheet totals as well from the end of the year and see where I'm at.

It's a site that lets you start trying products and letting other people know about them. You earn points as well which is cool. I've gotten quite a few GC this past year from stuff like this. I will be doing a whole post on ways to earn money doing surveys and even just reading emails later in the month. Stay tuned!!

Rebate Checks!!

I finally got some rebate checks from Staples in the mail. I was starting to get concerned about them. I got two rebate checks from Staples for $7.36 and $17.98.

I also got my July SCR from Rite-Aid for $23.69. I have not received SCR from June yet, so I emailed them and they responded that it has been over 30 days to send them my address and they will verify it and then stop payment on previous check and issue me a new one. Very happy at the quick turnaround on this so far.

This means that I get to add money to my money left to spend column!!

I was soo happy to get in on this deal at Wagreens on the Ragu. Usually when I go there is only one jar left, but I hit the jackpot this time! I got 12 jars of Ragu and 4 jars of Skippy.

I have three cards, I had thought I was going to retire the other two because I haven't used in a LONG time. ACtually, over $100 expired ECB on each of the other two cards, but I thought that the deals on electrasol and visine were so great this week that I needed to bring the other two cards back. Basically, I will be using the ECB earned from those to get my newspapers the next couple weeks and put them back into retirement, lol.

I got two cuopons for the $4/10 smart ones, one for my and one for husband. I also got three greeting cards for free, one of the free candy bar coupons and free nivea sample.

I did another Staples paper deal this week. We got the photo paper, the regular paper and the colored paper. I know that they weren't exactly free, but used $5 coupon, and will get Staples rewards as well. I figured that I can use the colored paper for scrapbooking, so got two of the multi-packs in different color schemes :)

Rite-Aid 7/25 Razor Deal and FREE jerky!

At Rite-Aid they had the Jack's jerky and chicken nuggets for BOGO free, in the July All You magazine there was a coupon for BOGO free, and in the August All You had a free coupon. I totally did this deal!! Got 30 bags for FREE!!

Also, great deal with the Schick razors because they were on sale for $5.99-$4Q and if you buy $50 worth you get $25 Rite Aid GC.Using the $5/$25 it was basically a moneymaker of $25 minus the tax.

Can't wait to get all my gift cards from Rite Aid and also all my rebate checks back from everything. I bought the Just for Men to use the $5/$25 and $2 just for men coupon. There is a mail in rebate to get the $5.99 (sale price) back on the Just for Men too. Will be filling that out in a few minutes!
